Engagement is critical here to ensure consumers move from your platform to the merchant&#8217;s site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The higher the web traffic from your site the higher the payout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pay per click implies that affiliates get a commission for every click that customers make. This could be clicking on ads or links that promote a merchant\u2019s product or service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are other pieces that fit into this puzzle as well and are critical for affiliate marketing success even though they\u2019re seemingly behind the scenes. Affiliate Network<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The affiliate network brings together the merchant and the affiliate. It guides affiliates to the right merchants, provides a functioning and appropriate link tracking system, and produces sales reports. Examples include ShareAsale, Amazon Associates, eBay Affiliate program, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Commission<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the amount paid to affiliates for sales acquired. The amount per sale is usually predetermined.
